LAPE is currently implementing structured Internship Programmes targeting newly graduated, high-potential youth. These programmes are designed to provide practical industry exposure, technical skills development, and hands-on experience within the agro-processing value chain. Through a mentored learning approach, graduates are equipped with market-relevant competencies that enhance their employability and prepare them for sustainable participation in the agricultural sector.

In addition, LAPE pioneers youth and women agribusiness entrepreneurship by offering agro-processing incubation services. The incubation model provides technical training, business development support, access to processing facilities, and mentorship to enable start-ups to transition from concept to viable enterprises. Through these interventions, LAPE contributes to income diversification for rural youth and women by facilitating the creation of off-farm employment opportunities and strengthening inclusive economic participation within rural communities.
